Ukrainian PM Warns Of Default Risk, Calls For More Western Help -- Reuters

(Reuters) - Ukraine risks defaulting on its debt unless Western donors come up with more funds on top of the billions of dollars of financial aid already promised, Prime Minister Arseny Yatseniuk said on Thursday.

A year of revolution and war with pro-Russian separatists has pushed Ukraine's hryvnia currency to record lows and crippled the economy, which was already near bankruptcy after years of corruption and economic mismanagement.

What do you think the consequenses of the new budget is going to be? Will this increase civil unrest and the risk of the civil war spreading?

Rhaegar .... I just finished reading the summary for the Ukraine budget .... and if what I read is true .... it is a complete disaster. It cuts and eliminates everything .... education program, hospitals and health care, pensions .... everything. People in the Ukraine who know what is happening are now in shock. My prediction .... when these cuts are implemented .... civil unrest will be the rule and not the exception.

Can there be a coup? Since if this is implemeted I think people's opinion of the goverment and Porosehnko will change drasticly. Also what do you think of the new "ceastfire"? I think it will not work and that the war may resume in the near future.

A coup is not going to happen this winter .... but what may happen 6 months from now .... who knows. As for the ceasefire .... it is already falling apart and I have been told that Ukrainian units are now being hit behind the lines and far away from the conflict zone
